The story is something like this: we hooked up with the boys last October for a few jars in The Head on Holloway Road (and indeed in a moment of rare panda brilliance took 22-20s along to see Medium 21 at the 100 Club with Brendan Benson!) and we sort of chatted about perhaps doing a panda single. The chats continued throughout Christmastime and the trio played at Club Fandango in January which was a very nice night.

However early last month the band?s management finally decided that they were going to release the single themselves which was fine by us so quite why the NME persists in printing news stories stating categorically that fierce panda has already released a ?bridging single? by the band is beyond us. Now if they actually wrote news stories about the records we HAVE got out that would make our lives a lot easier?
