| a numbstruck fierce panda one sheet The Act: ENJOYABLE LISTENS The Track: 'THE TERROR' The Format: DIGITAL SINGLE The Labels: fierce panda The Release Date: APRIL 16TH 2026 The Truth: The man, the enigma, the enigmatic man...everyone's favourite alt.popping troubadour ENJOYABLE LISTENS is back with new music on April 16th to coincide with his biggest London headline show thus far at The Moth Club not but a week later, on April 23rd. He's circled the circuit like a cursed hyena, has Enjoyable Listens: from Dalston Victoria to Bedford Esquires, from the North London Lexington to the SXSW wildlands, barely a stage has been left untainted by his arched-eyebrow-raising antics, the between-song banter every bit as fragrant and emboldened as his tunesmithery. Now, following the critical acclaim of his two albums, 'The Enjoyable Listen' and 'Trapped In The Cage Of A Hateful Bird', comes a brrrand new track called 'The Terror'. Recorded with Ben Hiller with full musical backing - not entirely usual for an artist trained to perform live with little more than an iPhone and an iMicrophone for company - 'The Terror' brings together a Bunnymenesque guitar, a broodingly baritone vocal, a persistent piano and a passionate chorus. Or, as the enigman himself posits: "Named after the most bloodthirsty period of the French Revolution, ‘The Terror’ is a track that embodies the ever present fear of imminent doom lurking just behind or ahead of true euphoria and bliss. "The willing plunge into the abyss, the decision to leave the party when you don’t know if it’s peaked or not, the need to marry and abandon the dream, the dream to abandon and marry the need - all packaged in a 3 minute 17 second baroque pop ballad, seething with indistinguishable rage and glowing white with obvious indifference."
