The Truth: Noirish indiegothpop dreamboats DESPERATE JOURNALIST head out on tour with one of their favourite bands, Suede, between Bath Forum on March 3rd and Cardiff St David's Hall on March 22nd. All the regional shows are sold out, but they also play together at a re-scheduled Brixton Academy show on December 15th. Full dates lurk below.

For any gloomsome music lovers left bereft by all those House Full signs, solace is to be found in the form of 'Live At JT Soar', the recording of a raucously hot show in Nottingham last summer. Roaring from the early singles through the four massively acclaimed albums (see 'Desperate Journalist', 'Grow Up', 'In Search Of The Miraculous', 'Maximum Sorrow!') and back again, 'Live At JT Soar' is a soaring, career-spanning collection of doomed pop nuggets and sparklingly ravished alt.pop hooks.

'Live At JT Soar' was originally released on limited edition cassette and CD in December 2022. The latter has now sold out but the live extravaganza is now available to pre-order on double vinyl direct from desperatejournalist.bandcamp.com/album/live-at-jt-soar and will be available on all streaming services for the first time from February 24th, which just so happens to be fierce panda's 29th birthday.

Desperate Journalist consist of Jo Bevan (vocals), Rob Hardy (guitar), Caz Helbert (drums) and Simon Drowner (bass).
